My name is Owen Blue. I am a designer based in London.
I take a strategy focused approach to design, always asking myself why I’m designing rather than what I’m designing. I am a believer in using design for positive change and sustainability.
Since leaving university I have spent the majority of my design career as a social designer- concepting, designing and analysing ads for social media. Including single images, carousel posts, and engaging short-form video content. All of which has honed my skills in animation, video editing and static asset design.
I’m most passionate about motion graphics and continue to push myself in learning about motion content. When desinging, I often experiment with analogue techniques before working digitally to create more tangible and thoughtfully conceived results.
Much of my personal work is music-based including album artwork and posters which has helped me to build a strong network of contacts.
